The Make-A-Difference Foundation wishes you a
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The MAD Foundation already had an exciting start to 2010, starting off by moving into our brand new Cape Town offices. Whilst furniture is moved and boxes are unpacked, planning for the New Year is underway with our first exciting public event being the Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Cycle Tour.

Join Francois Pienaar and MAD at our cycle tour challenge on the 14th March 2010 and you will really help us Make-A-Difference in the lives of South Africa's youth by creating exceptional educational opportunities for talented youngsters from less privileged circumstances. For more information on the day click here or download an entry form.

JOIN Francois Pienaar and his Circle of Friends to develop bright new talent MAD is a Cape Town-based charity organization with its main focus on providing educational opportunities for talented less fortunate children. The Foundation was born out of a dream that Francois Pienaar and his friends had of making a difference in the lives of young South Africans.

MAD was formed in July 2003. MAD stands for – “Make A Difference”. The whole idea around MAD is to join a circle of friends who share the same passion to make a difference in the lives of South African youth, to get together and interact on a regular basis.

There are so many worthy causes, especially in South Africa and how does one justify one ahead of the other? This is indeed impossible; MAD firmly believes that education is the key.

"...Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela
